now that got your attention! I really am writing about sex!
its not one of my strong points, i tend to "censor" the action. Any tips on erotic (but not thigh-high boots porn) writing? I was thinking about creating a sex driven short story of some type, like the whole "angry sex" bit and the "if you dislike me so much why do you let me do this?" sentiment...
Oh, and Lucy spilt water on the keybord and its really hard to type so am stopping this post noww!

I always find sex scenes easier to write if you either write it first person in terms of what the character experiencing it is feeling (emotionally and physically), or you leave it as vague as possible (e.g. "And then he devoured me"). I always find that if I start writing descriptive prose e.g. "He slowly slid his hands up her thigh", etc, I end up sounding like some sort of instruction manual!

true! It can be a tricky one! I recon that I should perhaps not do it cos i'll end up sounding tacky!

The things you have to fight against are multitudinous:

1) all words for the male dong are inherently amusing, cf. wang, schlong, trouser snake, etc

2) watching people have sex isn't really fun for very long

3) describing it properly (i.e. with all the squelchy sounds) is a bit grim

4) what if you've been doing it wrong all these years and PEOPLE FIND OUT

best i go back to the

"and then they kissed and...
"was it good for you Matilda?" Hugh asked while lighting a cigerette..."

I think we need to write a collaborative chick-lit style story about the exploits of Matilda and her on again off again boyfriends!
